Cheap Hotels at Bangkok

A Guide for What to Expect at the Cheapest Hotels in Bangkok

Bangkok has a reputation for being one of the cheapest destinations in Southeast Asia for guesthouses, hostels and of course hotels. It is true that there are plenty of cheap budget hotels all over the city. However, before you make that reservation for a 500 baht a night hotel in Khao San road, wouldn't it be nice to know how cheap or how low the hotel rate can go before you start feeling like you've booked a room at a prison.
After all, one of the biggest concerns and factors about any budget priced accommodation for travelers is whether or not it is clean and how big. No one wants to share a bed with bedbugs. Most travelers on a budget don't even want to share a bathroom. Which is what most travelers staying in the cheapest accommodations in Bangkok have to do.
Well you will be relieved to know that it's not so bad with the cheapest hotels in Bangkok. The vast majority of low rate accommodations in Bangkok are clean with private bathrooms. Though you have to have certain realistic expectations. If you want to spend 300 baht a night then be prepared to share bathroom.
I've met many travelers looking for the cheapest hotel rates in Bangkok that are comfortable. It's possible. But you have to be reasonable. Because in the end you get what you pay for.
I know the word 'cheap' is a relative term. Well to me a cheap hotel in Bangkok is around 1000 baht. So around $33 US dollars you can get a clean room which includes taxes and maybe a simple breakfast. Free wireless Internet access is a plus and if there's a pool then it's a bargain. Depending on the location and which part of Bangkok you are in it's possible to have both and a clean room with friendly guest services.

Magic Mountain Hotel, Chile magic Hotel,

Magic Mountain Hotel, Chile

Personally, I was impressed with this hotel. Magic Mountain Hotel itself is shaped like a volcano, it has a waterfall which spews from out of the top, there is a cable bridge leading to its front door. There’s something made me interesting is it covering a moss or plant life. It made this hotel like a hobbit home. Magic mountain hotel is located within the Huilo Huilo Private Natural Reserve in Chile. If you want to be “George of the jungle” you can try this to stay at this hotel. Just prepare around $250 to $400 per night. This is also suitable for larger groups contain 4-6 people.

Unusual Hotel in the World

Today is the best day for me to write this hub. To continue my passion in traveling, I though hotel review is good for me and I try to share useful information related with traveling activities. We all know that hotel is the part of traveling activities. We need a place to stay during the trip or during the holiday. With many considerations we have right in choosing the best hotel for us. If we brought family, we need big room or more than one room to accommodate our family member. We should consider our budget while traveling. Hotel is one of the things that require additional fees. Although we can choose a cheap hotel, we can find all information before beginning the trip. We need reservation in early on.
I thought we all know about this, don’t stay in hotel at peak season or special holiday. The rate is certainly more expensive than previous days. There are many types hotel over there, which ones is best for you? It depend yourself, your budget, and of course travel destination. The closer of a hotel with tourist destination, of course the rent is more expensive. We should be able to accept this, with everything prepared before, by saving maybe.
Star hotel or international hotel has a certain standard of service and facilities. If you are someone who likes to travel, you would easily choose the hotel that suits you. For cheap hotel, we also get some extra benefits. Difference in price you can use to enjoy the facilities provided in your vacation spot. Such as tour packages, trekking, or practicing the local language. Although we don’t get all facilities like in five star hotel or international hotels, this hotel is also suitable for backpackers.
Actually this hub is the second part from my previous hub about the same topic. While searching more than two days and doing research in collection valid information finally I can create beautiful hub about unusual hotel in the world. If you get bored with usual hotel, maybe you can try to visit and stay to these hotel someday. These hotels have different place with others and it also supporting by beautiful scenery around the hotel. Wow….amazing and breathtaking experience. You can put these hotels on your travel list. I believe you wouldn’t regret with these hotels. I thought some of people love with something weird or unusual and these hotels are really unusual hotel in the world

My Japa Tour Trip | Japan Tour | Japan Tour Travels

As the flight took off I shut my eyes, smiled to myself and the images of bullet trains, the visit of Hiroshima museum and the compact tiny houses with paper partition walls crossed my mind.

I smiled and recalled the discussion with my host student's grandfather on their home on their dining table before they drop me after a 10 day student exchange visit to Japan. I recalled how I was puzzled when the host family patriarch asked me “Athidhi” Can you give me 3 words which capture the essence of your trip to Japan. I was taken aback as an immediate reaction as how 10 days of time spent with the host family and the visits of various parts of the country could sum up by anybody in 3 words. I protested but he insisted and asked to shut my eyes and think of 3 most significant things of Japan. I focused and WOW I could see the bullet trains running across and I cringed at the thought of seeing those pictures of the aftermath of Hiroshima Disaster and 3rd I remembered the compact houses of my host with paper walls as partition between rooms.

And the more I thought the more I thought of It. These being the 3 things which had lasting impression on my Japanese experience.

Bullet Trains

Shinkansen” as it is called in Japanese was the true symbol of Japanese high technology excellence. You could fractionally time your watch with precision of its arrival and departure time which told me a lot about the Japanese ethos for precision and excellence. It will remain as a constant reminder in my mind that if trains traveling across hundreds of miles can reach with hundred percent precision at their destination, if I plan well, I can always be on time for every appointment and meeting deadlines. It also remind me that if I I would have to achieve some landmark achievement and be recognized in the world, I would have to work in the way bullet trains have created which brought unenviable technology leader position for Japan.

Compact houses with paper walls as partition

The first thing struck me as I entered my hosts house was that the Japanese keep their shoes outside the door which speaks they consider their house sacred and avoid bringing outside dirt with them inside. Their cleanliness and orderliness was also visible by the way they kept their the shoes stacked in rows at a small stand outside. As I entered the house I was shown to my room which I shared with the host student. I was amazed to see the walls in between our room and the hosts room being made up of paper and now when I look back I think it speaks a lot about Japanese culture and behaviour of Japanese. The people I met were very soft spoken and polite. These people always made sure that they lead a life that never disturb others around them. I had a tough time in the first couple of days as we are used to speak in our normal tone which was very high. Slowly I had started speak very softly and felt very calm and comfortable with that and I wowed to make this soft speaking behaviour a prominent way of life.

Hiroshima

The more I think of Hiroshima the more I shuddered as to how anyone could have so insensitive to drop an atom bomb on this peaceful town to kill and damage not only living generation but also make hell of many generations to come. I was really moved to see the pictures of Hiroshima museum. Pictures taken after the bomb was dropped. I could not help control my tears when I saw the pain and suffering these people had gone through. I was amazed to find that many Japanese families till today is in need and had to spend time and money to take care of people with deformities after the nuclear attack. It was heart wrenching to see people maimed for life but heart warming to see the courage and determination of the odd community who is supporting all the fumes with compassion.
I strongly believe that this visit to the museum based at Hiroshima is emboldened me to do my bit to ensure not to repeat such stake as well as it is motivated me to work beyond the call of duty to all needs. I remember my grandmother always helping the needy but never understand why. But when I saw ordinary people doing their bit to help better other peoples life in Hiroshima, I awaken myself and inspired to do the same back in India in my own way. On return I spoke to my mom to look for an opportunity to do my bit for the handicapped people and I was introduced to a National Association for the Blind school by my aunt who support that organization as a member of Rotary Club.
I was at first applaud and inspired to see how youngsters of my age were working against all odds to gain some education as my own without sight by listening to audio books. But their teacher lamented that they do not have enough audio books available for all the subjects. I volunteered and since last two years I have been working 3 to 4 hours a week to help blind students in their studies as well as recording audio books for classes 11 and 12. I have been able to motivated a couple of my friends to join me in this endovour and it's been a really satisfying experience. While working at national association of blind I was struck by the fact that these schools had very few girl students. On enqurey from the school I learned that uneducated parents are not sending their girl child because of their orthodox views. I talk to the parents of some male students who have sisters who do not attend school. We started visiting homes of these poor and unprivileged. We shared with the parents of girl children that how we as girl children ourselves are better off with our education and we were able to finally encourage many girls to start going to school.
I learned about an NGO called Khushi in Delhi which is dedicated to support education of girl child. With the help of members of Khushi and my friends we have been able to enroll over 80 girls into government school in different parts of Delhi.
Our group regularly meet this girls and their parents to help in their studies and the biggest gratification is the twinkles we see in this girls eyes when they come and meet me and hug me. I feel that this trip to Japan and Hiroshima moved me to take a massive change in my approach to life to become more giving and to make a difference in the lives of unprivileged and there is nothing more satisfying than that. I am glad to see that many of these girls who had been leading a treacherous life in the slums are taking small steps to become self reliant in their life. This has been one of the most significant and satisfying part of my life so far.

Your Choice of The Study Abroad |

Though it is linked to far back in history but in recent years, trend offoreign study has increased to great extent. Hundred of thousands of students go abroad for accomplishing their university degrees. There are several reasons to move abroad for education which include quality of education, worth of the institute and even the foreign country's tag in academic profile.
Each country has some specific reasons for which students go their and invest their time and money. Here under a few tips to choose country for your academic fortune.
International Community
How many students go each year to the country which you have chosen? This is important factor as there must be international community so you may feel good to adjust as soon as possible. This will also make you feel comfortable and you will be more confident in your studies.
Education Excellence
Academic standard and excellence is the main thing for which you think to leave your home country so until you go for a place having higher points for this factor, it will be illogical. If it is not in higher accredited than your home country then obviously you should not expect for higher rewards after completing studies because pay rate and professional career growth depends a lot on academic credentials.
Language
Degrees and courses should be in your native language or international language English. For example you live in China and go to Turkey for a degree with Turkish as a language of instruction then you should reconsider your decision. However this point might be overlooked in case you are going to choose that country for permanent stay.
Weather
Last but not least is the weather condition of chosen country. A student of hot African country might not be able to adapt living in Saskatchewan of Canada with -35 degree temperature.
